My name is Debbie Seder - I was the kid that was always bringing home the stray kitten, wounded pigeon, or baby bunny…and of course the occasional frog or turtle. Growing up I had hamsters, gerbils, and mice…turtles and goldfish…parakeets, cats and bunnies, but it wasn’t until 1973 that we got our first “family dog”…he was a stray and became my best friend.
Then in 1998 I discovered the world of “dog training”. I jumped in with both feet and started training Sierra in both agility and obedience. I started showing the following year, and she taught me my 1st big lesson - ”if it’s not fun…why are we doing it”.
I have been blessed with wonderful dogs who have opened up so many different avenues (agility, obedience, rally, conformation, tracking, flyball, herding, barnhunt), and have taught me so much…Trust, Respect, Patience, Persistence, and unconditional Love.
I currently teach advanced Obedience and Agility at my local club. I’m a member of the Samoyed Club of America and the Working Samoyed Organization.
I have been ranked Nationally since 2002 in obedience and agility (holding the #1 Top Obedience Samoyed for 10 years). I currently compete in obedience, agility, barn hunt, rally, and a little conformation.
...and I still “help” the turtles cross the road, and save the earthworms in the driveway after a rain.

Your dog will be loved and played with all day.
I have been training dogs for 15 years and am a Certified CGC (Canine Good Citizen) instructor. I have always felt a special connection to dogs, even as a young kid. I became fascinated with they're subtle, but clear, way of communicating and started studying the many different philosophies and methods of dog training. I have created effective techniques to meet each dogs individual training style. I use multiple training methods with a "balanced reward based" training style, focusing on basic manners and behavioral issues.
Ever since I was a little girl I have been an animal lover.
All animals big or small have a special place in my heart
and life. Throughout my life I have always had an assortment of pets, but at 10 years old my family and I adopted two very special little Miniature Pinschers. This is where my love of dogs started. As I got older I realized I wanted nothing but to work with animals and be the one to start their tail wagging when I walk in the door. When I found wags and barks it changed my life and now my number one goal is to make every dog feel as happy as I do when I’m around them.
My name is Reagan Shirley and I am currently a senior at Slinger High School. After high school I plan on attending Veterinary Tech school and becoming a Vet Tech. Ever since I was younger, I’ve always had a passion for animals. I’ve spent years volunteering at a horse farm. I’ve grown up with animals all my life and I have two dogs and a horse of my own. I really enjoy working at Wags & Barks because we have a great group of people and I love interacting with all of the dogs.
I am quiet, caring, and love being around dogs. I have worked with dogs for three years; in a kennel, dog day care, and with a working dog on a ranch. I like to make sure the dogs are happy and cared for. I make an extra effort to make nervous dogs feel comfortable. When I can find time, I also like to work with bison and other large animals.
